4th of July

With a brand new baby around, we didn't do much to celebrate the 4th of July.  During the day we slept in and cleaned up the house a little.  Then we went out for burgers and to watch the Layton city fireworks that night.

The kids really liked the fireworks.  Corbin would try and name them all, his favorite were the ghost fireworks... which is what he called the ones that make a screeching noise and shoot off in spirals.  Caleb told him it was the spirits of the soldiers that died in the revolutionary war that were escaping from the graveyard.  Makelle's favorites were the pink ones, naturally. And Seth laid there sucking his little thumb and just stared in awe, occasionally pointing at the really big, bright ones.  It was kind of fun to enjoy a relaxed evening with just our little family.
