Silverware Boy

Corbin has official reached the age where he now has his first chore. For awhile now he has been taught to help clean up his toys and such, but after aways wanting to be a "helper" in the kitchen whenever I am doing anything (which of course is more work for me trying to help him help me) we have discovered a job he can do that actually does contribute something. He is the official Silverware Boy.


I am pretty sure that every house in America has a Silverware Boy. This person is almost always the current youngest child that can walk and is constantly called whenever the dishwasher needs to be unloaded. In our home, Corbin has now assumed that role, in a couple of years his little sister will take over and so will continue the passing of the "Silverware Boy/Girl" title throughout the end of time.
