Slumber Party!

The Lloyd cousins came to spend the night with us over the weekend. Who says we need a bigger house... this totally meets fire code, right?

Resigned to the fact that we won't be able to sell anytime soon in this housing market we recently went out and bought Corbin and Makelle a twin bed to sleep on. (As what was suppose to be a temporary fix until we moved, we had taken the side off the crib and Corbin was sleeping on there with Makelle on the toddler bed and Seth was just in a moses basket.)

I laughed when our neighbor, who currently has custody of her nephews, said the state came by and declared that the second bedroom in our condos is too small for two children and so she had to move them to the master bedroom... wonder what they would say about our three and their wall-to-wall beds?

Blessings

On Sunday Caleb was able to give Seth a name and blessing during church. Both of our families were in town and we enjoyed a luncheon together after wards. It was so wonderful to spend time together and to celebrate Seth as the newest addition to our family.

It has only been a month and it already seems like he has always been around!

They require a TON of energy, but babies seem to drastically increase the love and kindness in a home. For one, I find that I raise my voice at the other children much less simply because you don't want to wake up the baby, but also merely being in their presence seems to radiate that peaceful spirit of love.

We are so grateful for this little guy!

Lazy Summer Days

This summer has flown by! We have had lots of fun learning to ride bikes, going swimming, playing with friends and hanging out as a family. We have been loving the warm summer nights and getting to play outside and enjoy life.
